About Us

Location:Friends, Associates and Family,

I would like to introduce you to Claudette Milner.  Ms. Milner is an author and
speaker and soon to be Wise Women Speaker Association member.  She is an awesome, dynamic and provocative personality who has published two books and is working on the third of a series of what will be five.  Ms. Milner isn't flamboyant, doesn't
speak loudly but when she does speak her words impact the hearers hearts and minds.
I invite you to get to know Claudette Milner by visiting her website, chatting with
her on her blog, attending one of her scheduled events and purchasing one of her two
books.  This wonderful and wise woman of faith is very much in demand locally and
nationally and would be a great choice for a speaker at an event you or someone you
know may be sponsoring this coming year.  Below is a synopisis of Ms. Milner's most
recently published book and a scheduled of her booked events for 2008.

Synopsis: The sequel "Unheard Voices": Children of Plains Estates can only be
described as provocative, thought provoking, and timely. Book two will examine
storylines in which no American author has dared to write about in one book for
young adult readers. Milner will explore the after effects of pedophilia in the
Catholic Church with a congruent storyline of a young boy molested by his father
through the eyes of Alan Bates and Cuban born Alejandro Rodriquez. One survivor will
go through a journey of faith while the other will seek justice in his own way. The
reader will be challenged to confront his own stereotypes and prejudice against
Mexican Americans. Economic lines will be drawn in this close community when a
strike pits management against laborers, neighbors against neighbors. The role of
the church and its own hypocrisy will be examined. The role of the Jehovah Witness
during the Holocaust will be openly discussed as a Jew and a Jehovah Witness both
tell their stories of survival.

My mission is global. We live in a diverse society. There are those that feel as an
African American I should limit my writing to African American characters. Our
country is divided among race, class, religion, and gender. I believe that the story
of every child should be told. My prayer is that through my series of books the
dialogue will be opened and we as a country will begin to heal.
