Claudette Milner was born in Ft.Riley Kansas. She is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. She is a former CRA officer and educator.Ms. Milner attended Purdue and Columbia University. She recently received honorable mention for her book "Unheard Voices": Children of Plains Estates at the London Book Festival and received an editor's award for her poem entitled Free At Last. Ms Milner has been residing in Charlotte NC since 1994 and has temporarily relocated back to Louisville.

Ms.Milner has twin daughters Melinda and Melissa Ishage and three grandchildren Alexandria, Christopher and Nicholas. She is currently working in the banking industry and completing her 3rd book of her five book sequel.
